Biography

Jabe Wilson has been coding since a child in 1983, since 1987 taking an interest in Cognitive Science – Reading for a Batchelor of Arts, in 1989 at – arguably the world’s leading school of Cognitive Science through the 1990s – he worked for a number of early tech start-ups in Digital Media the 1990s; he has taught Interaction Design and UX at the Royal College of Art, in 1994-1996, and has spent 25 years at RELX (1999-2024) working on Artificial Intelligence, getting Digital Media products to market, and delivering successful Semantic Technology outcomes, he has led Strategy Projects, Sales teams, Marketing teams, Product team, he has worked as a Consulting Director (delivering a Predictive AI project leading to a drug repurposing recommendation reported in the National Press and RELX annual report in 2019, he has Programme Managed Organisational Change, Delivered New Business Models for eBooks and Data Licensing, worked on Mergers and Acquisitions, Reviewed Legal Contracts for Data Licensing, and Created Brands for the Product “TargetInsights” in 2011, and the Segment Brand ‘Innovation Intelligence’ in 2022 – he has a BA in Artificial Intelligence, an MSc in User Experience (UX), a PhD in Artificial Intelligence and an MBA in Business from Warwick Business School.
